Another new signing in good form was Elliot Binding as he topped the alley for Q C Guys with 108 as they brought White Horse Stallions one hundred percent winning start to an end with a 48 pin victory. Anthony Cornish led the Stallions scoring with 95.

A score of 122 from Bottoms Up captain Martin Larcombe backed up with 121 from Mathew Phillips helped them inflict a fourth straight defeat on winless Railway Steamers, for whom returning Chris Kelly hit a useful 116.

In a closely fought contest on the challenging Brompton Cricket club alley between Three Ferrets and Castaways Clive Penfold and Shaun Walsh both hit 110 as the visitors were victorious by eight pins, for their first away win of the season, Tyrone Ash topping the alley with 116 for the Ferrets.

Highest away score: Tyrone Ash (Three Ferrets) 141. Phoenix Knights are setting the early pace at the top of Division A after Connor Jeronsom scored an alley topping 114 in their 67 pin home defeat of second placed Barn Owls to see them on maximum points after four matches, Tom Andrews hitting 101 for the visitors.

A match winning score of 118 from Dungbeetles Leroy Ford moves them into second place after a 47 pin away win over Watchet Specials who had Garry Keogh scoring 108.

Another nip and tuck match saw Haddon Hillbillies captain Ian Rottenbury hit 99 in the three- pin success over Has Beens who had Mark Clausen hitting an impressive 117.

Dizzy’s Boys recorded their first points of the season after Ruf Dunlop with 92 helped them to a 14 pin victory over Rams, Desmond Sealy leading their scoring with 89.
