AFTER Week Three of the premier fixtures, three teams remain on maximum points in the Watchet and District Men’s Skittles League, writes Alan Bulpin.

Leading the Premiership on eight points are White Horse Stallions who's Taylor Buller hit 131 in the 11-pin away victory over QC guys, for whom Mark Norman hit 120.

For the second week running Shane Coxhead topped the Allsorts scoring, hitting 125 in the 21-pin home win over Windham Pinheads, Sam towels topping the alley with 129.

Despite being 13 down after the first two hands Bell All Stars recovered to win their home match against Williton Club by 39 pins, All Stars Andy Trunks topped the alley with 111 while Steve King hit 108 for the visitors.

Steve Duck knocked 100 for Castaways in their nine-pin home win over Three Ferrets, Rob Norman scoring 96 for the visitors.

Railway Steamers are still looking for the elusive first points of the season after going down by 24 pins in their home match against Bottoms Up who's Nathan Whatley hit 104 while Calum Tarr and Matt Burns jointly scored 95.

The match between two of the undefeated sides in Division A was played at the Greyhound Inn between Barn Owls and Phoenix Knights with victory eventually going to the Knights buy 18 pins, Brandon Jones scoring 102 for the Knights but no individual scores for the Owls available.

Dungbeetles got back to winning ways after Tyler Kendall hit 100 in their 77 pin home victory over Watchet Specials for whom Gary Keogh scored 93 and Wyndham Warriors Paul Davis holds the highest away score after hitting 121 in the six pin away victory over Footy Fockers who's Julian Westcott scored 118.

A knock of 103 from Has Been's Mark Clausen help them record a 48 pin home success over Haddon hillbillies whose Chris Govier scored 92.

With a top of the alley 98 Pete Mather ended on the losing side for Dizzy’s Boys as they lost away to Rams by 48 pins, Alf Goble and Leigh Davis both hitting 95 for the home side.
