A MATCH winning knock of 121 from Bell All Stars’ Andy Milton, ably supported by Adam Taplin (120), brought them a 41 pin home win against Allsorts in the Premier Division of the Watchet & District Skittles League earlier this week. Shane Coxhead led the visitors scoring with 112, writes league secretary Alan Bulpin.
Tim Short’s 102 topped the alley for Q C Guys as they ran out 15 pin winners against Railway Steamers, for whom Callum Tarr hit 101.
In a closely contested match at the Cricket Club, Nick Lane was in good form, hitting 124 for Castaways as they overcame Three Ferrets by six pins, Chris Adams leading their scoring with 123 and Brandon Walsh continues his return of high scores, hitting 132 for Bottoms Up as they defeated Jack by 14 pins, Steve Bosley scoring 129 for the visitors.
Has Beens’ Mark Clausen with 106 brought them their first win of the season as they defeated White Horse Stallions by 39 pins, Alistair Benham scoring 107, and 117 from Phoenix Knights’ Eben Harding led them to a 23 pin home success over Rebels whose Wayne Gregory knocked 115.

In Division A, a spirited fight back from Williton Club led by Steve King hitting 104 turned a nine pin half time deficit against Wyndham Pinheads into a full time 18 pin victory, Andy Pegg scoring 102 for the home side and a top of the alley 119 from Dungbeetles’ Tim Fish was not enough to prevent them losing by three pins to Wyndham Warriors whose Phil Trunks hit 104.
Ian Rottenbury, who knocked a fine 107, led Haddon Hillbillies to a 43 pin home win over Dizzy’s Boys whose Pete Mathor scored 95.
Dean Manley scored 93 for Footy Fockers as they recorded a 15 pin away win over Rams whose Leigh Davis was the highest scorer with 91. Highest Away Score: Phil Champion 126 Wyndham Warriors.
