STRUGGLING Watchet Town begin the New Year with a tough home game against fourth-placed Chilcompton Sports in the Premier Division of the Uhlsport Somerset County Football League tomorrow (Sat, 2p.m.).

Watchet have lost 13 of their 14 matches this season and are seven points adrift at the bottom of the table.

However, they have not enjoyed the best of luck this season and were unfortunate to lose 2-0 at home to Staplegrove last Saturday.

The Red & Blacks could justifiably feel a little hard done by at the final outcome after making life difficult for their opponents and pushing them all the way.

Jack Harding returns in goal for Watchet after missing the game against Staplegrove through illness while Josh Aspey will be be back in the squad.

Minehead are without a game in the first division for the second successive Saturday and will not be back in action until they play away to Sporting Weston on Saturday, January 17.
