MINEHEAD Barbarians will be chasing back to back wins when they play away to Avon in Counties Two Somerset tomorrow (Sat).

The sides were involved in a thriller when they met at Minehead in late September with the game ending in a 28-28 draw.

Since then, the Babas have been hit by a spate of injuries but have been able to field much stronger teams since Christmas and played some fine rugby to beat Oldfield Old Boys 29-5 at home last weekend.

Avon are lying sixth in the table with Minehead one place below them, but 15 points adrift of tomorrow's rivals. Only five points separate seventh and tenth places.

Meanwhile in-form Wiveliscombe, now up to fifth in Counties Two Western West, are home to Cullompton who are lying second, only two points adrift of top of the table Topsham.

Wiveliscombe, who went down 37-19 away to Cullompton earlier this season, have won their last four fixtures.
