THE Taunton & District Youth Football League swings back into action this coming weekend following the Christmas and New Year break.

For many teams it is their first game in three weeks, while others have been without a match for much longer.

Minehead's 100 per cent record in Division Two of the Under 15 section will be at stake when they play away to Wellington Town on Sunday. Minehead are lying third in the table but have games in hand on the two teams above them - Huish Tigers and Nether Stowey.

Local fixtures on Saturday - Under 12, Division Two: Watchet Town Saints v Middlezoy Rovers Typhoons. Under 13 KO Cup, first round: Minehead v Staplegrove Spartans; North Curry v Watchet Town Red and Blacks.

Sunday - Under 14 KO Cup, first round: Minehead Town v Wembdon Saints. Under 15, Division One: North Curry v Watchet Town Mariners. Under 15, Division Two: Wellington Town v Minehead.
