AFTER securing the Under 15 title in the Somerset Girls Football League as far back as February, Minehead finally got to celebrate their achievement and get their hands on the trophy.

The girls now have their eyes set on the possibility of a league and cup double. Their cup final is edging closer as they face Isle of Wedmore on Saturday, May 20 at Street FC (4pm KO)

Manager Dan Haran said: “This special squad are paving the way, laying foundations and creating a legacy for girls locally to aspire too. The future looks to be an incredibly exciting time to be a female footballer in Minehead and West Somerset. “
