THE Minehead Barbarians 2nd XV travelled to Wincanton and put on a masterclass in rugby.

The team ran out 84 points to 10 winners in the Counties Four Somerset South league game on Saturday, March 14.

The Barbarian forwards took control of the game, which allowed their talented backline to run amok.

Kimura, Lynch and Wilcox moved the ball wide and created opportunities for the outside backs to build the scoreline.

The team scored 12 tries, all of which were converted by Lynch.

Warwick Wilcox was named the player of the match for his “powerhouse performance” that stood out in a team “full of stars.”

A Barbarians spokesperson said: “A massive shift was put in by every player in the squad to secure a dominant away win.”
