MINEHEAD and Watchet Town are in action in the opening round of the Somerset Senior Cup today (Sat) - and both have away ties against second division opposition.
Minehead, who top the first division of the county league after Saturday's derby win over Watchet, play Radstock Town Reserves who have lost all three of their league games this season.
Having made a good start to the season, Minehead will be disappointed if they do not come away with a victory.
Watchet play at Congresbury who have made a bright start to the season and are lying third in the table.
Watchet will have to make changes because five of their first team squad are unavailable including Billy Jones, who scored their goal against Minehead, and goalkeeper Adam Bishop who is on holiday.
Looking back on Watchet's game at Irnham Road, Nick Sully said: "I think the lads were a bit disappointed overall.
"I don't think there was much between the teams. I felt a few big decisions went against us and Minehead made use of the extra man in the second half.
Meanwhile, the Taunton Saturday League swings back into action today. First division champions Redgate begin the defence of their title against Galmington on the 3G pitch at Castle Sports Centre in Taunton.
