DESPITE more heavy rain this week, the Taunton Saturday Football League hopes to complete much of its programme of games over the coming weekend.
Wembdon, who have lost only one match in the Premier Division this season, have a top of the table clash at home against Dunwear United.
Wembdon have a three-point lead over second-placed United - and also have three matches in hand.
Porlock, in fourth spot, entertain bottom side Wellington A who caused a shock last weekend by beating highflyers Galmington 7-4 on the all-weather pitch at Court Fields, although they fielded a strengthened side which included three reserves team players.
The only other match scheduled for the Premier Division is at Staplegrove where the home side entertain Wyvern United who are facing relegation along with Wellington A.
Meanwhile Racehorse Rovers will be looking to step up the pressure at the top of Division One when they play at home to pacemakers Nether Stowey, who have a one-point lead over their rivals who have two crucial games in hand.
At the other end of the table, bottom side Norton Fitzwarren play away to North Curry in the hope of pulling off only their second victory of the season.
In Division Two, Dulverton Town will be out to maintain their place at the top when they play at home to Bridgwater & Albion.
