THE National Racehorse Week returns for its fifth year, running from 23rd to 31st August, following four highly successful years.
Local trainers who will be opening their yards to the public include: Jeremy Scott (Somerset 28/8/25): Hosting 100 people; Home to 50 jump horses, include multiple Cheltenham Festival winner Golden Ace, who is also staring at the forefront of ITV Docuseries Champions Full Gallop in the autumn; The open day will consist of tours of the yard, the chance to see horses on the gallops, as well as the chances get to know some of the horses.
Philip Hobbs & Johnson White (Somerset – 29/8/25): Hosting an event for 100 people; Philip has so far trained nearly 3000 winners and been in the top 6 trainers for the past two decades.
The aim is to showcase the care and dedication behind their lives and inspire people to learn more about racing.
