‘NUMBER 1 West Somerset ‘and ‘Number 1 Gymnastic Club CIC’ will be changing hands at the beginning of next month.

Owner Suzanne Richards has been involved with the industry since 2009, and has worked tirelessly to provide children of West Somerset with opportunities to enhance and enrich their educational journey.

“We have worked with numerous funders and partners to even out the barriers of living in this geographically challenged area to enable access to a range of activities,” Suzanne said.

During this time Emma Munro has worked alongside Suzanne as head coach and she is the one who will be taking over the business.

Suzanne added: “Emma and I are very similar in our beliefs and I couldn’t be leaving the business in safer hands, I am excited to continue to watch the business evolve and develop..

“I wish Emma the very best and I am certain I won’t be a stranger and will still be on hand for some projects. In addition Morgan, an apprentice over the last two years, will also be continuing at Number 1.”

“I would like to thank all the partners I have worked with, the fabulous people I have worked with along the way who have supported this journey and all my family and friends that have supported me. Although the journey has taken us through many emotions I am super proud of all we have achieved.”

Emma said: “I'm honoured to be taking over Number 1 and grateful to Suzanne for her trust and support. After more than 20 years working with children and families, I'm proud to be taking this next step and look forward to continuing the great work which has made Number 1 such an important part of our community.”

The services of the gymnastic club will continue as normal and any enquires should go to [email protected].
