Enmore Royals entertained the County Cricketers Golf Society for their annual fixture on a glorious Monday. For the cricketers, openers Max Waller and Ian Blackwell got the team off to a flying start with an early win. In the second match, home pair Ted Murrell and Colin Galbraith were cruising until their opponents, Peter Trego and Somerset newbie Josh Shaw, birdied the last three holes to save the match and earn what would prove to be a critical half point.
Andy Criddle and Paul Martin couldn't match the consistency of Graham Rose and Dennis Breakwell in match three. In contrast, however, Nigel Redman and Rob Chilcott restored some respectability for Enmore in the last game against Mike Burns and Keith Parsons.
