MORE than 120 golfers played a Stableford Competition for the Andrew Gadd Challenge Cup at Oake Manor Golf Club.
The first three players in division 1 all scored 40 points but on count back Samuel Turner was first, James Symons was second and Rob Larcombe came third.
Stephen Plowman won division 2 with 41 points with Glyn Pearce second, also with 41 points, while Sam Briggs came third with 40 points.
Vic Burgos won division 3 with 42 points, the best score of the day, so winning the Andrew Gadd Challenge Cup, Tamsin St George came second with 39 points, the top lady, while Mukhtar Zaman was third, also with 39 points.
Tom Richardson won the Sunday Stableford Competition, scoring 38 points, Michael Bright came second with 37 points while Ian Nott was third, also with 37 points.
In the Seniors Stableford on Monday, the first three players in division 1 scored 36 points but on countback David Wheeler came first, Glyn Pearce was second and Charles St George third.
Paul Blythe won division 2 with 39 points, the best score on the day, while Angus Mather came second with 37 points and Robert Sanders came third, also with 37 points.
Pam Akers won the Ladies Stableford Competition on Tuesday with 38 points in division 1, Angela Warnes was second with 37 points while Beverly King came third with 35 points. Sheila Grant won division 2 with 36 points with Sally Jackson in second place with 35 points and Pepita Verge third, also with 35 points.
Shaun Anthony won the Wednesday Midweek Stableford, scoring 41 points with Mark Popham second with 38 points and Daniel White third with 37 points. The Ladies went to the West Country Golf Academy for a 9 hole competition and meal on Thursday. Amanda Mather was the winner with Jenny Swann runner up.
