WELLINGTON goalkeeper Luke Vernon plays in goal for Watchet Town in their away match against seventh-placed Isle of Wedmore in Division One of the Uhlsport Somerset County Football League this afternoon (Sat).

Vernon, who signed for Watchet yesterday, takes over from Regan Gallagher who is unavailable.

Watchet are bottom of the table, having lost all five of their league matches.

“Luke’s signing is purely a one-off for this game,” said Watchet boss Nick Sully.

Minehead, who are just above Watchet in the table, have a tough away game against Paulton Rovers Sports who are lying second. Minehead have won only one of their seven league matches.
