WATCHET Town play their third successive home game when they meet Fry Club in the Premier Division of the Uhlsport Somerset County Football League on Saturday, November 8 (2p.m.).
Watchet came close to picking up their first point of the season against Westfield last weekend but eventually went down 3-2, conceding a late goal.
They also suffered a blow when they lost Alfie Cox in the second half with a knee injury which will keep him out of the side for six weeks.
Watchet boss Nick Sully said: “We seem to tire towards the end of games. And we don’t seem to get any luck. That’s what happens when you’re bottom of the table - luck deserts you.”
Fry Club, who are lying tenth in the Premier Division, hammered Bedminster Town 8-2 at home in the Somerset Senior Cup last weekend.
Meanwhile Minehead, who parted company with manager Craig Carr by ‘mutual consent’ at the end of last month, will be looking to end a run of five games without a victory when they play away to Glastonbury in the first division.
Minehead have not won a game since they hammered Burnham United 5-0 at home at the end of September. Since then they have drawn two and lost three games.
Glastonbury have won only two matches this season and are lying 13th in the table with only Keynsham Town Reserves and Bishop Sutton below them, both of whom have yet to win a game.
Porlock play away to Wyvern United in the Somerset Junior Cup, while Minehead Reserves and Alcombe Rovers both have home games in the first division of the Taunton Saturday League - against Wembdon Reserves and Racehorse Rovers respectively.
Other fixtures in the second division include: Dulverton Town v Norton Fitzwarren Reserves, Noreth Petherton Reserves v Watchet Town Reserves, and Porlock Reserves v Galmington Reserves.
