WATCHET Town Football Club held their annual seniors’ Presentation Evening in the clubhouse on Friday, May 23.

It was a great evening for all concerned with excellent attendance from the club's adult teams (the first team, reserves and ladies) and their supporters.

The chairman of the club Mark Willis officially opened the evening and the club’s football secretary Kate Norman then followed with a summary of events throughout the past 12 months.

The team’s managers, Paul Humphries (Ladies), Aiden Buller (Reserves), Nick Sully (First Team) & the First Team captain Eben Harding took to the floor for speeches, and to thank everyone, and to announce the winners with the awards being presented by the club’s President Joyce Gibbins.

The awards were as follows: Club Person of the Year - Spike Norman; First Team Managers Player - Brandon Walsh; Supporters Player - Billy Jones; Players Player - Billy Jones;Top Goal Scorer - Billy Jones.

Reserves Managers Player - Karl Boswell; Players Player - Ollie Webber; Top Goal Scorer - Lewis Clavey.

Ladies Managers Player - Abbie Rendell; Players Player - Abbie Rendell; Most Improved - Gemma Glasson; Top Goal Scorer - Emeral Haran.

Young Male Player of the Season - Ryan Wilkinson; Young Female Player of the Season - Evie-Mae Lovell. A special thank you went to Michael Stout for 45 years of service to the club running the line for Watchet’s first Team, which is truly amazing dedication to one club!

The teams take a short break now before returning for the 25/26 season for pre-season training later this summer.
