WEMBDON will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the Premier Division in the Taunton Saturday Football League when they play away to Wyvern United this coming weekend (Feb 7).

United are struggling near the bottom of the table with only one point from ten matches, while Wembdon are three points clear at the top - and they also have three matches in hand on second-placed Dunwear United.

Dunwear entertain Wellington A who are bottom of the table and have won only one game this season - a 7-4 success against Galmington on the all-weather pitch at Court Fields School.

Porlock, in fourth spot, will be looking to stay in touch with the leaders when they play away to North Petherton.

Racehorse Rovers, who have a two-point lead at the top of the first division, play away to eighth-placed Middlezoy Rovers Reserves while second-placed Nether Stowey are home to lowly Norton Fitzwarren.

Old Inn 98, who are bottom of the division, entertain former league champions Bridgwater Sports.

Second division pacemakers Galmington Reserves, beaten only once this season, are home to third-placed Nether Stowey Reserves while title rivals Dulverton Town are home to North Petherton Reserves.

All teams will be hoping for a weekend free of rain which has caused the postponement of numerous matches.
