SOMERSET Pathway cricketers have enjoyed themselves scoring runs over the last few days during which there have been a number of centuries..

Topping the bill was 16 year old Theo Lamey who scored a century in each innings for Somerset in the ECB Under 18 Boys County Championship against Warwickshire at Edgbaston Foundation Ground- a feat which earned him a call up to the First XI for their Metro Bank One Day Cup game against Kent

After being asked to bat Somerset were all out for 358 in 72.4 overs, of which Lamey hit 108 off 111 balls with 13 fours and 4 sixes and Oscar Coleman made 106 from 132 deliveries with 13 fours, the pair adding 123 for the fourth wicket. Warwickshire replied with 357 for 3 from 78 overs, Mo Kaleem taking 2 for 49.

In their second innings Somerset made 398 for 8 declared - a total based on a second-wicket stand of 186 between Lamey who retired not out on 107 from 115 balls with 11 fours and two 6s and Bertie Michael.

Bertie then added 80 for the third wicket with Oscar Coleman who made 53, before he was out for 105 with 15 fours and one 6.

In their second innings the hosts reached 224 for 4, Thomas Watson taking 2 for 28.

Somerset Girls travelled to Ivybridge to play two Vitality Blast matches against Devon in the ECB Under 18 County Cup. In the first match after being put in Somerset posted 181 for 3 from their allotted overs, of which Katie Rowe made 112 from 56 balls with 17 fours and 3 sixes while Leila Moledina hit an unbeaten 40, the pair putting on 157 for the third wicket in 15 overs. Devon replied with 185 for 7, Matilda Parfitt taking 2 for 19.

In the second game the hosts were put in and scored 159 for 4, of which Ella Gill, who is on the Somerset Academy, contributed 77 off 49 balls with 13 fours and a 6. Matilda Parfitt took 2 for 33.

Somerset in reply were limited to 138 for 7, Emily Dummett top scoring with 52 from 50 balls with 8 fours,

In the ECB Girls Under 16 Vitality T20 County Cup, Somerset hosted their Dorset counterparts at Taunton Vale Sports Club. In the first game after being asked to bat first Dorset were bowled out for 47 in 11.2 overs, Amy Court ending with the impressive figures of two overs, one maiden, four wickets for one run .

Somerset in reply reached 48 for 2 in 5.5 overs, Isobel Glyn-Jones making an unbeaten 28.

In the second game the hosts were put in and posted 213 for 2 from their overs, of which Emma Mason made 126 from 68 balls with 17 fours, and Emily Dummett hit 53 off 40 deliveries with 6 fours, the pair adding 159 for the second wicket.

When the visitors replied they reached 194 for 6, Rose Grant Peterkin taking 2 for 31.

Somerset Boys Under 15s were in action against Wiltshire at Potterne where, batting first, the hosts were bowled out for 219 in 41.1 overs, Ally Jackman, Sam Cohen and Harry Bird each taking two wickets. Somerset in reply made 220 for 6 in 36 overs, Harry Bird remaining unbeaten on 64 off 83 balls with six 4s.
