WATCHET play at home to new champions Ashbrittle in the big Match of the Day in the first division of the West Somerset Cricket League tomorrow (Sat).

Both sides enjoyed success last weekend with Ashbrittle making sure of winning the championship after beating title-rivals Crowcombe while Watchet triumphed in the final of the League Cup 24 hours later by beating Stogumber - at Minehead.

Watchet will be looking to avenge a 134-run defeat at Ashbrittle in June when Luke Williams starred with the bat, hitting 166 not out.

Bridgetown will be looking to complete the season’s double over Kilve after gaining a 109-run away victory over their rivals in June while third-placed Crowcombe are home to fourth-placed Morebath.

The other first division game is at Over Stowey who entertain Bagborough. Stowey were hammered by nine wickets when they played at Bagborough earlier this season, being bowled out for 137 with Mathew Raffill taking 4-21 and Henry Stirzaker 3-43.
