Young Ben Cobb was then joined by Steve Archer and together the pair started to build a partnership before Aecher perished for 29.
Cobb went onto make 58 and along with Adithyan Rajan who hit 37 enabled the home team to post 179 for eight from their 20 overs, which turned out to be a challenging target for the visitors.

When the visitors replied opener Thomas Sargent had scored four when he was caught and bowled by Jithin Rajan. At the opposite end Sreejith Anilkumar had Andy Gloyn caught off his bowling for eight, which came off 17 balls.
The fall of the second wicket brought Dan Chanter to the crease to join opener Edward Smith. Between them the third wicket pairing kept up with the rate and tried to take control of the situation.
The Minehead good bowling and tight fielding however kept them in check and in the end try as they may the Bishops Hull pair fell just short of their target as the ended on 174 for two by the end of their innings.
Opener Edward Smith finished on 57 not out, an innings that contained four 4s, while the more aggressive Dan Chanter ended unbeaten on 72 which included four 4s and five 6s.
