Minehead started well with the bat. Oliver B hitting the ball to all all parts of the ground as he made his way to 30 before he had to retire.Oakley held up the other end and rotated the strike well as well as finding the boundary on his way to 19.

Minehead lost a few quick wickets for not many runs and Callum and Harry B found themselves at the crease needing 56 to win from 7 overs.

Callum and Harry then started to find the boundaries again. Needing 6 from the last over Harry found himself up against the Taunton spinner and waisted no time with the 6 runs as the first ball of the over the boundary.

Oliver B hit 30 when he retired, Oakley made 19, Callum 18 and then Harry B hit 31 including the winning runs!

This was a fantastic team performance and every player chipped in be it with the ball, bat or in the field. The improvement seen over the last couple of weeks is eye opening! The future is bright at Minehead.
