JACK Clayton is stepping down as head coach of Minehead Barbarians - but will continue to play next season.

Clayton, a former player withTauntonTitans, took over at the beginning of this season but has been sidelined for most of the winter through a back injury.

However, the ex-Taunton Titans' player is now fit again and intends playing next winter.

Claydon admitted recently recently it had been a 'difficult' season for injuries, including to himself.
