MINEHEAD Rugby Club staged a 'tournament game' involving Bristol Imperial and North Petherton on their ground yesterday (Sun)
More than 350 players - aged between U7s to U14s - took part and the event attracted a big crowd of parents and spectators.
Matches began at ten in the morning and went on for a total of five hours.
"It was a very good day for rugby and financially for the club," said Dave Swann, the club's mini-chairman and a senior player with the Barbarians. "It could not have gone any better."
"We were also very fortunate with the weather."
