A YFC West team excelled in a contest of Just A Minute based on the Radio4 panel game chaired by Nicholas Parsons.

Rising to the challenge to speak for one minute without hesitation, deviation or repetition, the YFC contestants tackled topics including credit cards, Walt Disney and James Bond.

West Group won the Somerset final and went on to represent the South West area round were they came second, qualifying them for the Southern England round at Hartpury College.
