AFTER three changes at the helm in less than a year, troubled West Somerset College finally has a new permanent head teacher.
Zoe Stucki, deputy principal of King Charles I School, Kidderminster, will take over in September from acting head Jane Aplin who will leave at the end of the academic year.
In a letter to parents, Mike Robbins, chair of Bridgwater College Trust, said that in her current job, Ms Stucki had been “most successful in raising standards of attainment and raising the quality of teaching and learning..”
What has been called educational musical chairs at the college started last April when principal Gaynor Comber resigned after a period of sick leave to be temporarily replaced by Bridgwater Academy departmental head Steve Moir.
