I would like to say a very big “well done” to Kev Watts, Wayne Reeder, Stephen Toogood and Shane Johnston, who cycled from John O’Groats to Land’s End in just six days (Free Press July 14).

The weather in Scotland was atrocious, with gales, rain and cold, then they were hit by extreme heat further on.

Their families were there to meet them at the end. They were exhausted but pleased to have made it, for themselves and their charities.
