THERE were no sensible shoes or serious faces in Knights Templar School, Watchet, as pupils and staff threw dignity out the window on Friday in the name of Red Nose Day.
From wacky wigs and mismatched socks to inflatable costumes, the school was transformed into a wonderfully ridiculous spectacle.

But, the day was not just about looking silly, it was about spreading laughter, and classrooms echoed with giggles as children took turns sharing their jokes, with each class choosing their favourite to be presented in a whole school assembly.

Donations were collected throughout the day, reminding everybody there was an important cause.
By the end of the day, the children and staff proved that sometimes, being a little bit silly can make a big difference.
