More than 600 people joined a march through Porlock yesterday (Thursday) lunchtime in protest against the proposal to close the village’s fire station. The village hall was then packed as residents and people from the surrounding area voiced their concerns at a public consultation meeting called by the Devon and Somerset Fire Service.
