NO charges have yet been brought after reports an occupant of a car ‘fired shots’ at another vehicle on the A39 near Minehead.
Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed two arrests were made on Friday, October 4, following the incident on the Dunster Straight.
Police have confirmed enquiries continue and two men are currently on conditional police bail.
Police said in a statement last week: “Officers were called just after 6pm on Thursday, October 3, to reports that the occupant of a car had fired shots at another vehicle.

Minehead police appeal as Jehovah's Witnesses hall attacked by right-wing activists“No one was injured in the incident. Two adults were arrested from an address on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
“Officers, including specialist firearms units, seized an air pistol and pellets as well as a car.”
