MINEHEAD Twinning Association hosted a group of 35 people from its twin town, St Berthevin, over the royal wedding weekend.

Porlock hosts music and entertainment and dashing Santas as festive season continuesOn the wedding day itself, they were welcomed to the town by Cllr Maureen Smith at a reception at the Beach Hotel and, after a relaxing afternoon with their hosts, they joined members of the Twinning Association and Minehead Tennis Club for an evening of folk dancing at the Hobby Horse Hotel.
In the evening they tried their hand at skittles in the Britannia Inn, taking part with enthusiasm and acquitting themselves well.
On Monday, the group was wished “au revoir “and “bon voyage” by their hosts, following a successful visit made all the more memorable by perfect weather.
