Complaints force council into major changes to A39 temporary traffic lights controlThe club meets on the last Friday of each month in a central Minehead location - currently the Sacred Heart Church Hall in Townsend Road. Meetings start at 7.30pm and typically last a couple of hours.
Guest speakers lined up are: January 28 - Ian Anderson on Country Gardens; February 25 - Claire Hart on Vegetable Growing; April 29 - Robert Schmidt on Greencombe Gardens.
Meetings always include a themed competition, raffle, tea, coffee and biscuits. Annual membership is £12 for ten meetings and guests and visitors can attend for £2 a meeting.
Membership also offers organised day trips to notable RHS gardens at a discounted cost, the chance to socialise with like-minded people and access to plants and produce grown by other club members at bargain prices.
