SIR — While on holiday in West Somerset the Red Arrows event made last Wednesday a lovely day to spend on the seafront in Minehead.

I feel that a very big thank you should go to the very special people who had the unpleasant task of emptying the bins and keeping the area free of rubbish.

I feel they deserve a very big thank you, not just from me, but all of the people who attended the event.

I look forward to coming again next year.
