THREE people were arrested during a drunken brawl in High Street, Dulverton, on Friday night. The disturbance involving a large drunken group broke out shortly before midnight and officers from Dulverton police station were at the scene asking them to disperse. A 40-year-old man refused to leave and became abusive, and as he was arrested, a 16-year-old girl, who had also been asked to leave the scene, jumped on the officer's back. She too was arrested. The group was again asked to leave the area and a woman aged 43 refused, became abusive and was also arrested. The two adults were dealt with by means of a Fixed Penalty Notice and the juvenile was reprimanded.
