Critics say dramatic fall in Somerset Council budget gap is 'smoke and mirrors'However, my greatest thanks go to all the 3,283 people of Minehead, Porlock and West Somerset who took the trouble to sign the petition, many of whom spoke to me and expressed their dismay and anger at what is being proposed.
I have forwarded the petition to the Somerset County Council cabinet member responsible for transport and have written to him, with copies to the Prime Minister and other Government offices, saying how difficult and detrimental this will be to the people of West Somerset.

UKIP Member for Minehead Division,
