STUDENTS at the West Somerset Community College in Minehead bridged the generation gap when they helped members of Dunster Women's Institute celebrate a special anniversary.
Ladies from the WI contacted the college's Combe Restaurant to help them organise a celebratory lunch, complete with special cake, to mark the group's 92nd birthday.
Sixth form hospitality students who run the restaurant under the guidance of professional chef Werner Hartholt and teacher Jackie Batten were only too happy to help.
The ladies enjoyed dishes ranging from cutlets of lamb, sweet and sour chicken, Eton mess and warm chocolate fondant served with balsamic fruit and crême fraîche ice-cream.
