MINEHEAD Middle School pupils Grant Dennis and James Dibble entered a national maths test - and came up with exactly the same scores.
The two year eight pupils won gold certificates in the UK Schools Junior Maths Challenge and, with matching scores of 105, were joint 'best in school'.
James, on the left, and Grant are pictured with some of the school's nine silver and 14 bronze certificate winners.
Highest scoring silver winners were Chris Fletcher and Gareth Storey, both gaining 86, followed by David Higgie with 82.
Silver awards also went to Ellen Tranter, Louise Ansell, Rebecca Gant, Laura Salter, Magnus Cordran and Joanne Fuller.
Top of the bronze awards were Rory Crabb and Sara Price, both scoring 72, and Rebecca Sadlier, 71.
Bronze certificates were also achieved by Joanne Hillier, Samantha Reynolds, Alex Weedon, George Moore, Lee Smyth, Tara Stearn, Adam Bourouba, Molly Roole, Harry Strickland, Samuel Moore and Melanie Prole.
