Somerset West and Taunton's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 8pm June 15 to 7am September 16, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 26 - all entry and exit slips closed for Somerset Council Chelston Link improvement Scheme. Northbound, exit slip diversion via M5 northbound to junction 25, A358 and A38 southbound. Southbound, exit slip diversion via M5 southbound to junction 27 and A38 northbound. Northbound, entry slip diversion via Chelston Rbt, A38 and A358 northbound to junction 25. Southbound, entry slip diversion via Chelston Rbt and A38 southbound.
• A30, from 8pm April 1 2025 to 4am April 1 2026, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 20 to 31 mobile lane closures for drainage works.
And one more closure will begin over the next two weeks:
• M5, from 9pm June 25 to 6am June 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 25 - carriageway closure for carriageway reconstruction/renewal, Division - northbound, jct 25 exit, return northbound, junction 25 entry slip.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
