A CARHAMPTON mother of two who did a skydive in aid of a Minehead woman with terminal cancer and the Teenage Cancer Trust, has raised over £600.

Kully on mission to restore reputation of Minehead fish and chipsLucy Payne, 29, of Hill Lane, did the 15,000 foot skydive in tandem with an instructor at Dunkeswell Aerodrome – even though she had to wait six hours for weather conditions to be just right.
She raised £200 through sponsorship for the skydive, as well as £235 for Teenage Cancer Trust and £170 for Katie Bennett, a Minehead relative with terminal cancer, whose friends have been raising funds for her and her family.
