Council shows Minehead social housing has gone to 'locals' and not migrantsThis Sunday, 23 April, Alcombe resident and a regular at Minehead Park Run on Saturday mornings, Simon See will be taking part in the London Marathon, raising money for the Minehead Community Defib Group charity.
This will be Simon’s first road marathon and first time running London, having been successful in gaining entry through the vastly over-subscribed ballot system, after several years of trying. The Minehead Community Defib Group was formed in May 2021 with two charitable aims, one around the provision and maintenance of a network of public access defibrillators and the other around educating members of the public on how to use them and how to use basic life support skills.
