A TOTAL of 123 people enjoyed a village breakfast of local products at the Moorland Hall, Wheddon Cross, last Sunday (October 7).
And there will be another Big Breakfast in the Moorland Hall from 8am to midday tomorrow (October 14).
The Big Breakfast is a regular event that has raised over £13,000 for local good causes over the past 15 years.
Local produce included bacon and sausages from Clive Downs butchers in Porlock, muesli from Dunster Watermill, jams from Brendon Hill Crafts and apple juice from Torre Cider. All other items came from Central, Wheddon Cross.
“We had lots of compliments from our customers, with many of them promising to come back next week too,” said organiser Sally Parish.
Breakfasts cost £7 for adults, £4.50 for children. Booking is not necessary and a vegetarian option is available.
