Local sculptor Maggie King has donated a work named ‘Same Sea’ to Minehead Community Hospital.
It was presented to Exmoor Ward, for the Quiet Room, and was accepted from Maggie, of Minehead, by Sister Senior Sister Hayley Welsh and Sister Penny Earl on behalf of their colleagues.
Sister Welsh said: “It was really kind of Maggie to think of the Quiet Room. It is a very special place for staff, patients and relatives, and we all appreciate the solitude and reflection the room provides.
“The sculpture she suggested has cemented the serenity of the room and we are all extremely grateful to receive this personal piece of art.”
