SELWORTHY teenager Scarlett Cooksley will be riding in her brother's hoofprints when she mounts up as part of the England squad for the International Pony Club Mounted Games in May.

Scarlett, 14, is a member of the Devon and Somerset Pony Club and was chosen at a special selection event held in Newark at the weekend.

Together with her pony Millie, she will compete in the international championship held at the Royal Windsor Horse Show later this year.

Her brother Josh competed in the same event for the England team in 2005.

Proud mum Tracey said: "Scarlett's been riding since she was little and has been a member of the pony club for years.

"She had a three hours trial with 27 other children at Newark and will now be following in her brother's footsteps."
