Drivers in and around Somerset West and Taunton will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A30, from 8pm June 13 to 6am July 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 20 to 31 mobile lane closures in both directions for grass cutting works.

And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:

M5, from 9pm July 11 to 4am October 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 20 to 31 - mobile lane closure for drainage works.

M5, from 8pm July 18 to 6am July 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 25 lane closures on both exit slips to facilitate Somerset County Council works on the local authority network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
