WEST Somerset District Council has yet to finalise the sale of Williton's Red Cross centre, it has been revealed. A "legal problem" is holding up the transfer of ownership from the charity to the council, which plans to use the centre as a chamber ahead of its proposed relocation to new centralised offices. The council's economic development officer Andrew Fowler said the authority hoped to resolve the situation within the next fortnight. "It should have been resolved on June 13 but at the moment we still do not have ownership."
