A CULL of red and roe deer in the Quantock Hills Natural Landscape may have to be carried out after drones were used to help count the herd and found about 2,000 of the animals.

Cllr Mike Rawle told Bicknoller Parish Council it was considered ‘too many’ and the area ‘overstocked’, and might require a reduction ‘in the near future’.
