TWO young ambassadors for Porlock were honoured at a special ceremony in the village at the weekend.
Charlie Smith and Tom Hooper were each presented with 2014 Porlock Youth Achievement Awards by parish council chairman Cllr Alan Wright.
Charlie was honoured for his commitment to various activities and his achievements through the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and the Army cadet force.
He had also given support to his family during difficult times.

His national successes made him a real role model for other young people in the village.
Charlie and Tom were supported by family and friends at the presentation although Pam and Les Tancock, who had nominated Tom, were unable to attend.
The achievement award scheme was set up by the parish council to show how much Porlock valued and recognised the hard work and dedication of its young people.
