A TALK about ‘Amazing Plants’ will be given by Chris Allen in Porlock Village Hall tomorrow (Wednesday September 13).

The talk is the first of the season by Porlock Horticultural and Crafts Society. 

Chris has been involved in horticulture all his life: growing plants, designing medal-winning show gardens, writing in horticultural magazines, newspapers and books and advising seasoned and novice gardens alike. 

He will introduce the audience to some of the “amazing plants” he has encountered in his career. The talk starts at 7.30pm and entry is £2 for members, £2.50 non-members. Tea and coffee will be served afterwards.
