PORLOCK Horticultural and Crafts Society Spring Show takes place on Saturday when cookery, horticultural and artistic talents will be on display.

Floral classes include narcissus, early spring shrubs and other seasonal flowers. 

There are decorative and cookery entries, homemade drink, and classes specifically for children including a display of artwork by pupils of St Dubricius School. 

Alongside the exhibits will be stalls selling plants, books, raffle tickets and homemade refreshments. 

The show is in Porlock Village Hall from 2pm to 4.30pm and culminates in a presentation of cups and trophies  Entry is £1; free for members of the society and children.
