WEST Somerset came down firmly in favour of leaving the EU in yesterday’s referendum.
Three out of five people who voted opted to leave, and two out of five to remain.
Voting figures were:
Leave: 13,168 (60.59%)
Remain: 8,566 (39.41%)
The turnout of 79.1% was higher than the national average.
